By plugging the cable into the purple Fakra connector at the back of your RA3 or RA4 radio, you can override the bothersome message stating “911 Vehicle Phone Requires Service.” This message pops up due to the absence of the factory-installed 911/Assist vehicle phone hardware in the vehicle where the RA3 or RA4 has been installed. Our cable is designed to facilitate the installation of the 8.4″ radio and remove the error message promptly.
