My original 8.4” radio screen stopped working and I was looking around to get it repaired, low and behold I went down a rabbit hole of Ram truck forums and realized I can upgrade my current radio to one that’s apple carplay compatibl. After doing my research I decided to pull the trigger on this UAQ upgrade as it came with apple Carplay and navigation and it was most fair in terms of price. Unit arrived in good condition and with installation guide. Im not the most handy person but after a good afternoon of fiddling around I was able to get this thing installed. One thing to look out for are those da** clips gotta be gentle with them so you don’t snap any of them off. But other than that it was pretty straight forward. Happy with my purchase and I am now enjoying apple carplay and navigation. Cheers!

Install went smooth took me maybe 30 mins tops. Screen looks awesome and CarPlay booted up right away. I had one question about the backup cam and the support team got back to me in like 15 mins which was awesome.

Got this for my 2016 2500. Fit was perfect. Even the steering wheel controls worked without any setup. Love it.

My son installed this for me and I love it. It’s nice being able to use google maps right on the truck screen. Huge improvement over stock.

I only wish they had told me the shipment requires signature to be released as I wasnt at home.

I have a 2018 Ram with a 8.4 non-navigation head unit that belongs to my customer, and made a mistake of ordering RA4 radio that i thought was a right upgrade, but turns out its the previous generation radio that isnt equipped with the apple carplay feature.

So after receiving it and installing for my customer, turns out its not even the right unit as the interface was completely different, and thinking carplaynav made the mistake of sending me the wrong one. I was pretty upset considering waiting over a week to get it, and had contacted them that they got my order wrong, but the technical support rep explained the issue, and had assisted getting the right radio for my customer. They shipped it express so I would receive it same week, covered the return shipping and provided a discount for the inconvenience! Unmatched customer service, and will be buying most of my automotive electronic needs from here. Thank you and Merry Xmas!!

Dealer told me it wasnt possible, these guys said otherwise. Ordered and received within a week, and everything went well, and received some money for my old unit.

Ordered both the cluster and radio upgrade same time and got a discount, it came fast. Plugged it in and it booted right away. Didn’t even need to program anything. Perfect for my 2018 Dodge.

Will order one for my 2016 Challenger to get the Android Auto option!

Amazing customer service even with slight delay on my order, and upgrade was seamless with their technical support.

Had an issue where the screen didnt turn on at first and freaked out. Turns out I missed a plug lol. Once it was in, everything worked great. Love having android auto finally. 10/10 service and delivery, and big thanks to Victoria for convincing me to get the upgrade instead of trading in for a newer truck.

I drive a 3500 every day for work and this upgrade changed the whole feel. Music quality better and maps work right off the bat. One hiccup with pairing my phone but I rebooted and it worked.

Looks factory. My husband helped me with the install. Instructions coulda been a lil clearer but we figured it out. Super happy with it now.

I had received my order 2 weeks from date of order, and to my luck, package arived damaged. When I contacted them about the issue, they immediately proposed to send a replacement and had overnight it without charging extra! I have 2016 Ram ST base model and was debating for awhile to change my truck since I didnt have the options that the higher trim models have. I was referred by a friend who had purchased from carplaynav, at first I was skeptical since there weren't much reviews in the website, but their prices are a lot more favorable than other companies that sell similar products, not to mention they sell in Canadian dollars, saved an arm and a leg due to currency exchange and didnt have to pay sales tax.
