Do you own a vehicle that has a UConnect 4C radio receiver module installed from the factory, which is defective? Vehicles equipped with the detached 8.4-inch touchscreen feature an individual radio module (UAV option code). There are instances where these modules may experience failures. We can help repair or replace yours. Here are a few typical issues associated with these units:
Circuit Board Related:
- Failure of the Sierra Wireless module air card.
- No power, video, or sound, or being stuck on the initial power-on splash/logo screen.
- Reboot loop caused by a failed or interrupted update.
- MMC failure.
- BOLO error.
Navigation Related:
- The inability of GPS to accurately determine your location.
- Navigation system is stuck in a “Loading” loop or with an undefined map database.
Sirius Satellite Radio:
- Tuner failure or damaged fakra barb.
Connectors:
- Rear Fakra connectors are broken.
- Molded connectors that are damaged.
Software/Firmware:
- Operating system with software bugs or performance issues.
- These issues can be resolved in many cases by installing the latest available software update.
